Sam Donato in Scouts Honor
As some of you already know, Sam's spent the last two years working for both Disney as an actor and performer and for the Nickelodeon Family Suites in Orlando as a Show Host and performer.
He recently however, signed with an agency and started to look at some new opportunities. His latest is pretty exciting. He just finished acting in his first independent feature film directed by and starring TV actor Jim Fitzgerald. It's called "Scouts Honor", and part of it was shot in Florida. It was a great experience with a great cast and crew.
It's the story of a city kid who's Mom marries a small town guy and they return to the fictional town of Brenton, FL to start a new life. The boy has a tough time fitting in at first, but he soon finds his way. His stepfather, Allen, becomes a Scout Leader to some Boy & Girl Scouts. They go off on a Wilderness Adventure just in time for the boy's real father to get out of jail and take his motorcycle gang to Brenton to kidnap his son. They kidnap the whole town and lock them in jail. It's then up to the kids to come back to rescue the town. Of course, hilarity ensues. Sam plays Sheriff Broward and the motorcycle gang is played by lots of famous sports stars like Mike Alstott and Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly. It's scheduled for release in November, so watch for it.
